Zen Internet gained a fourth PC Pro Award for Best Broadband ISP at the Science Museum in London on Tuesday 4th December.
With four years in a row of success at these awards, Zen is clearly showing commitment and success in its mission to provide the Best ISP service in the UK.
The Reliability and Service Awards are based entirely on the experience of PC Pro Readers, compiled from the UK’s largest independent survey of IT customer satisfaction.
PC Pro have announced the winners on their Web site, and commented on Zen’s success:
"It's now four years in a row for one of the industry's most respected ISPs. Near-flawless customer service and reliability keep Zen at the top."
Richard Tang, Managing Director of Zen commented on this win:
“I am absolutely delighted that we have been voted the Best Broadband ISP for the fourth year running. Winning this award is a real testament to the fantastic job done by all our staff – it is their adoption of our principle of continual improvement that has been the key to us winning the award.
Pursuit of our company mission requires us to deliver a better service to our customers today than we did yesterday, and to plan to deliver an even better service tomorrow. This approach will remain the bedrock on which Zen is built.”
Zen is currently preparing to expand the ZenDirect Leased Lines product range to include two new products; Secure Access and Secure Ethernet.
Both solutions will be based on existing ZenDirect Access and Ethernet connectivity solutions, but will feature the added benefit of a managed FortiGate firewall, providing a fully secure managed Internet solution.
By offering an extended range of solutions - including leasing options on firewalls and hardware, as well as a choice of bandwidth, resilience and maintenance - Secure Access and Secure Ethernet offer you the flexibility to meet both your business needs and your budget.
Further information will be provided soon in a ZenPartner Newsflash.
Zen understands the value of case studies and the benefits they can bring. They are a great tool to help illustrate solutions in practise for customers, and also provide reassurance on the quality and reliability of our services.
Zen case studies are stored in their own section on the Press Centre. They also promote the companies who have worked with us to produce successful solutions, as we use them on the Web site and for client meetings.
There are versions from direct customers and partners, all promoting Zen solutions and products. They are also added to the ZenPartner site; you can access these by logging in and visiting the Marketing section.
Why not check these out next time you are on the partner site? You can use completed case studies as part of your product literature for customers.
If you are interested in doing a case study with Zen please contact your Account Manager.
Gold ZenPartner 8 Networks Ltd provide professional I.T. networks and support for small businesses throughout the North West. Based in Manchester, 8Networks support organisations that rely upon and consider I.T. a key part of their growth and success.
8Networks' typical client has between 3 and 25 PCs and appreciates quality service and the extra touches they offer. For example, 8Networks' backup package includes pre-labelled tape media, monthly printed backup calendars and a personal phone call at 1600 each day if the customer forgets to change tapes or puts the wrong tape in.
The company’s mission is to deliver and support reliable, fast and secure I.T. networks for small businesses, and to do this with the utmost efficiency and professionalism.
8Networks customers often want them to manage all aspects of their I.T., including broadband and web hosting, and don't want to deal with multiple third parties. As a ZenPartner 8Networks have all the tools necessary to quickly recommend and manage Zen products easily.
Thane Brooker, Managing Director of 8Networks commented:
“To ensure an efficient and quality service we standardise our systems wherever possible. This includes working with a single ISP so that we save time and money, as well as offering a better solution to our end client. Being a ZenPartner helps us to convert clients that are with alternative ISPs. Our position as a Gold Partner, and the ability we have to manage all aspects of the conversion and fault resolution, is a strong incentive for our clients to change to Zen."

On Monday November 5th Voluntary Action Wakefield District successfully launched its enhanced computer support service for community groups and voluntary organisations, Anthem ICT Services.
Anthem ICT is the product of a vision of Voluntary Action Wakefield District (VAWD) to equip the Voluntary and Community sector in Wakefield district with effective ICT skills and resources.
Bronze ZenPartner, Leeds11.com has been working closely with VAWD to make this vision a reality, and now dedicates practically 100% of it time to servicing this project, having merged its client base with that of VAWD. Anthem provides free advice and consultancy to Community groups in the area, and if required, can provide cheap or subsidised support services to organisations.
Leeds 11.com has the experience to advise organisations on their ICT needs, on sources of funding, and are able to provide first line support and services.
Since joining the ZenPartner programme in June 2007, David Florence explains the advantages of being a ZenPartner:
“We use Zen as our preferred supplier because of the excellent support, service and helpfulness of Zen’s staff. We don’t have to mess around on premium rate calls to help lines, and on the very few occasions we have had need for support, we have spoken to somebody who knew the situation and was able to do something about it.
Being a Partner means we are able to visit an organisation and sign them up to an ADSL service instantly, and the automatic static IP address means that we can set up remote access software easily and login to provide support to the organisation more easily.”
The ZenPartner team would like to say congratulations to those partners who have moved up levels in the programme this quarter, meaning an increase in the resources available to them and a move towards a more strategic commitment.
