Fact of the day: Partners who attend a training event have on average 3 times as much partner revenue as those who don’t!!!

It has been a busy summer for ZenPartner Training with plenty of sessions and events being held both at home at Moss Bridge Road and out on the road on the Product Update tour.

Friday 28th July – Induction Training @ Twickenham, Memorial Stoop

Training attendees

Another successful induction session ran at the Memorial Stoop, on a very hot Friday afternoon!

This session saw a mixture of both existing and new partners, in the pleasant surroundings of the Memorial Stoop stadium.

In attendance were:

• Peter Strong – Computer Angels
• Wojtek Popiel – Purple Lattice
• James Campbell – Optimal Tools
• Neil Anderson - Stabilys

Tuesday 1st August – ZenExpress @ Moss Bridge Road

ZenPartner Trainer Gill Cummings and training attendees

The ZenExpress session ran at our headquarters for long standing Platinum partners Central Networks and Toltec. The session proved to be a very useful insight into the way ADSL and the new Max DSL technology works from the Zen side of things for the staff who attended.

In attendance were:

• Dawn Dean – CNT
• Milton Grimshaw – CNT
• Terry Hughes – Toltec Systems
• Graham Darlington – Toltec Systems

Wednesday 9th August – Product Update @ Worcester Rugby Club – Sixways Stadium

The first of the product update sessions was held at Worcester rugby club and was a very successful day with a variety of newer and longer established partners in attendance.

We covered several topics including an up to date competitor analysis, market information and a more detailed overview on each of the product sets available through Zen.

All in all everyone who attended enjoyed the event and learned at least a few things that they weren’t previously aware of.

In attendance were:

• Graham Perry and Steve Povy – Cotswold Voice & Data
• Alan Crockett & Dal Kumar – CAM systems
• Steven Burrows – SolarSecurity
• Simon Douglas – Advent Media

Managed Security Workshop – Wednesday 13th September.

The third managed security workshop is going to be held on Wednesday 13th Sept at Regus Chiswick. The workshop is ideal for partners who wish to re-sell and promote the new range of managed UTM devices, but need some further information about what it actually does and what the sales pitch is etc. As usual, if you are available to attend please complete the online booking form on the partner portal – please log in before accessing the form.

Feedback

If there are any products or areas of Zen that you would like to attend a training session on, i.e. if you are thinking of moving from just reselling broadband, to providing hosting for customers as well but aren’t sure of where to start, please send your enquiries to training@zenpartner.com or speak to your Account Manager and we can look at supplying tailored training for your requirements.
